CMA tec presents the new
adjustment for series ball valves
The DIAMANTE ball valve grinding machines
were designed for working the ball valves
coated with hard material or CBN with metal
to metal seals.
The grinding cup wheel can fit either diamond
stones or pads and is designed for machining,
with just one
All models are equipped with NC SIEMENS
840 D and with RENISHAW sensor for rapid cup/
bearing centering.
The larger version can even work spheres of ø2400 mm.
WORKING METHOD
Our machines are tailored on the Customer's
requirements, which is possible thanks to our
skilled and experienced Technical Department.
We are also able to produce 100% of the
mechanical parts internally in our Machinery
Tool Department.
The complete assembly of the DIAMANTE is
carried out in our workshop, then our team of
qualified technicians take care of the start-up
at the final Customer's Premises.
TRAINING
The course is led by our electronic technician
and aims to instruct the client on the correct use
of the machine. During the training machining
test on spheres are carried out.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
SPINDLES
the sphere transmission spindle was designed to provide maximum accuracy when working (roundness 0.01 ) and is powered with a 70 kW torque type motor with the DIAMANTE 64" version to guarantee maximum torque at low revolutions.
The DIAMANTE 24" and 40" versions are equipped with SIEMENS brushless motors. The spindle is equipped with a universal socket system to guarantee the machining of all types of spheres. The grinding spindle is equipped with inclined CNC axis (stroke ± 5
mm) to enable excellent cup/sphere centering.
GRINDING CUP WHEEL
the grinding tool holder cup wheel was designed for machining, using the same tool holder, the largest range of valves. The tool is assembled to an adjustable support. The cup wheel can be equipped with diamond pads or abrasive stones. It has been designed with an extremely rigid structure which during the machining, enables the achievement of roughness below 0.2 mm.
TAILSTOCK
designed to guarantee maximum rigidity and accuracy when working, it is equipped with a NC-managed hydraulic compensation system.
